A hotel should make guests feel safe, but Mercure Hotel did the opposite. In Julia Sett’s video, her mother and sister are described as having been mistreated after staff handed over their belongings without consent. It's shocking and makes it seem like the hotel puts money ahead of ethics, safety, and basic respect. I don't trust a place with no professionalism or manners. Don't come to Mercure Hotel, staying there could put your safety and rights at risk.

A friend booked under another name because she was trying to keep her family's location secret while protecting them from a violent father. Even so, hotel staff reportedly took a bribe from that abusive family member and gave away their exact room number, putting them in immediate danger. That points to serious failures in privacy and security. No one looking for a safe place should trust a hotel that sells guest information for money.

So irresponsible. Staff took customers' belongings from their rooms well before checkout, after an outsider bribed them and told them to do it. This hotel clearly doesn't value guest privacy.

Most of the hotel staff welcome guests warmly, but the security team made my stay unpleasant. They came across as hostile and treated guests like thieves. People come to spend money and enjoy themselves, not to be viewed with suspicion. I've had far better experiences at many other hotels.
