We found the location handy for cafes, restaurants, and sights such as The Secretariat. Our four nights were comfortable and relaxing. The room had plenty of space for large luggage and meals, with a private bathroom, ACU, TV, electric kettle, hair dryer, and mini-refrigerator. Breakfast was included each day and filling enough, with the option to eat at Cherries 2 Rangoon, its rooftop bar, or have it brought to the room. The staff were polite and accommodating. They ask you to leave your passport at the front desk, but you can collect it when heading out to explore. They also allow checkout in the middle of the night for midnight or early morning flights.

We were charged for supposedly damaging the TV, though all we did was watch YouTube before it suddenly switched off. The manager pointed to a rule saying guests must not update the TV system. Why would anyone be updating it in the middle of the night? There was no clear warning at check-in, and if normal use can apparently cause this kind of problem, why offer the TV service at all? First we were blamed for water damage to the remote, then the claim shifted to damage to the TV. It felt awfully convenient. The whole handling of it was absurd, and the lack of professionalism and poor management were shocking. This was an absolutely terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone, and I wouldn't stay here again.

This budget hotel has the basics, including a rooftop where breakfast is served, and I thought it was good value for money. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location is superb: Botathaung Jetty, Ocean Supermarket, and Sule Pagoda are within walking distance, with restaurants and grocery stores close by. You can also take a town bus to explore farther, including China Town.

The rooftop bar has a nice spot to relax, and the food and drinks were good and fairly priced. The rooms were clean, the staff welcoming, and service excellent. A nice hotel for a fair price in this location.
