Ramada by Wyndham Ulaanbaatar Citycenter

I was told checkout would be at 2:00 PM, but the hotel made me leave at noon instead. They also failed to honor my breakfast arrangement: when I booked, I asked for it to be delivered to my room at 10:00 AM. After waiting an hour, I called reception and was told, “There is no breakfast left, we’ve run out.” That was extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. I'm very disappointed with the staff's service, communication, and lack of responsibility. This was the worst service I've ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend the hotel and won't stay there again.

On my business trip to Mongolia, I found the hotel very clean and had a comfortable, pleasant stay. I especially enjoyed relaxing at the bar/restaurant on the top floor and taking in the beautiful view.

Every staff member I met was wonderful and did everything they could to make the stay good. The rooftop bar is great, with amazing sunset views over the city. The hotel itself is dated and needs renovation. The rooms, corridors, and public areas feel tired and dingy, and I had to change rooms three times because of noise. Ask for a quiet room if road noise bothers you. Bathrooms are fine, with good amenities and great water pressure. Breakfast was mediocre. I didn't try the gym, and the sauna and jacuzzi cost extra. The location is good, with restaurants, shops, and museums within a 30-minute walk. It's on one of UB's main streets, which makes getting around easy, but the road noise is constant. I can't compare it with other UB hotels, but by European standards I'd call it a dated three-star.

The rooms feel pretty dated, but the staff are friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast is great, and the lounge on the 17th floor has fantastic views.
