Novotel Ulaanbaatar

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and even found me a wonderful guide, Tom, who arranged a great trip to the Genghis Khan statue. There's also a handy currency exchange in the hotel for USD, RUB, and other currencies. Novotel Ulaanbaatar is right in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with soft beds and the essentials. I also liked the modern, well-equipped fitness center, and the SPA's professional massages were a treat after a long day exploring. Breakfast met international standards, with plenty of choices, fresh vegetables, eggs, and excellent coffee. A great option for both leisure and business visits to Ulaanbaatar.

The location made it easy to get around and explore the city. I was glad I took someone's recommendation to stay here, since it lived up to what I expected. The staff were experienced, friendly, and helpful throughout, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurants on site had an impressive range of dishes, wines, and cocktails. Highly recommended.

I was in Ulaan Bataar for one night, which was probably enough time 😂. The room was warm and spacious, and the hotel seemed fine. The manager on duty that morning was very friendly. They arranged my airport transfer and packed me a breakfast box to take along.

The room itself was fine, but there was no heating. They had to bring in a portable heater, and I had to call several times to get anyone's attention. Front desk information was inconsistent, and the staff were unfriendly. The service was poor overall. This was the worst Novotel I've stayed at, and it definitely wasn't five-star.
