Zaya 2 Hostel

The staff made this stay for me. They were enthusiastic, spoke great English, and helped with whatever I needed while I was in Mongolia. The room, bathroom, and shared spaces were spotless, and the hostel is right in the center near Peace Avenue, with plenty of food and convenience stores nearby. Airport pickup is available for $25. I’d gladly come back in summer.

We loved our four nights here. It felt like a warm refuge from the Mongolian winter, and everything was close by. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, and the living room is a cozy place to relax. Rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all immaculately clean, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We'll be back in summer! 😊

A quick tip for finding the entrance: pass through the gate, then look for the metal door facing the parking lot. The door under the hostel sign isn't the way in. We were welcomed by a cheerful, very kind young woman. Our room and the toilet were clean, and the mattress was soft (ifykyk).

We had a spacious private room right in the city center. Anand was quick to respond. There was a little confusion at first because we booked by email, but it was all sorted out.
