Maison L'occitane

The pillows were the biggest downside for me. They were oversized and uncomfortable enough to affect my sleep a little. The pool is cold and unheated, so I probably couldn't swim there in winter. I was glad I stayed despite the terrible reviews on some booking sites, and felt it was worth the money. The hotel is new, check-in and check-out were quick, the amenities were all L'Occitane, and the air conditioning worked adequately. Soundproofing was pretty good except for the clatter of doors opening and closing.

If you like L'OCCITANE, this accommodation at The Lisboa Macao is a particularly good fit. The rooms have the brand's herbal scent and come with a full set of genuine L'OCCITANE bath products. They were stylish, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom stood out. Staff were friendly and attentive. It's good value compared with other luxury hotels in Cotai, although check-in can take a long time at peak hours. The East Asian Games Light Rail station is about a five-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop beside the hotel.

The Korean staff member, Kim, was so kind and helpful, thank you. The location is out on the outskirts, so it's not that convenient. But the L'Occitane products smell lovely all day.

The staff's service impressed me. My birthday had been nearly a month earlier, but they still gave me a belated birthday cake. It may be a small gesture, but it makes a big difference to the guest experience. The hotel is in the casino zone, far from Macau's popular tourist spots, so you have to take a bus to get to them. The rooms aren't luxurious, and the view is of the airport runway, where planes take off and land.
