The staff were all welcoming and helpful. When I asked to borrow an adaptor, someone brought it straight to our room. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the rooms were fresh and very clean. It’s within walking distance of Senado Square and the Ruins of Saint Paul, with bus stops and local restaurants just a few steps away. Don’t miss this hotel if you’re staying in Macau 👍🏻☺️

Caravel Hotel was better than I expected for the nightly price. My room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the bed, sheets, and towels were all good quality. The friendly staff were helpful, and the location makes it easy to explore Macau’s history and Portuguese culture, with lots of attractions close by. Excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it.

The location is very convenient, close to transit and plenty of places to eat. But compared with my last stay, the cleanliness has fallen off badly. The room felt poorly cared for: the little table still had old cup stains and water marks, and the floor mat was dirty and looked long unwashed. Worst of all, there was visible black mold by the shower and on the bathroom tiles, making it unpleasant to use. I’m very disappointed and expected much better hygiene.

Ruins of St Paul's and lots of local restaurants and tourist attractions are within walking distance. The receptionists were attentive and friendly, and the hotel felt cozy with all the amenities provided. Highly recommended.

The bus stop is only about 100m away, which made it easy to get around the historical sights. During our two nights at Caravrl Hotel, the friendly staff also pointed us to nearby restaurants where we ate really well.
