We were especially grateful to Mr. Albert from the Philippines, who guided us on places to visit and helped us with real professionalism. The rest of the team were hospitable, approachable, and professional too. My family and I had a very pleasing stay at holiday inn express macau city center. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and downtown is close. The self-service laundry room was a nice surprise, with an exercise bike and ball, a bookshelf full of books, and a TV. Breakfast is free, and staff were courteous and quick to help. When we made a request from our room, someone responded within five minutes.

Getting around from the hotel is easy, with historic sights and transport nearby. The Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and Monte Forte are about a 10-15 minute walk away; New Yaohan, Casino Lisboa, and the Grand Prix circuit are also close. Macau International Airport is roughly 5 km away, around 15 minutes by car, and the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal is nearby. Breakfast is included in most room rates and served buffet-style in the Great Room on the 3rd floor. There are hot dishes such as fried noodles, eggs made to order, and noodle soup, plus pastries, cereal, and local treats like custard dumplings. The on-site restaurant serves Chinese, local Macanese, and international food for lunch and brunch.

We had a really enjoyable stay, and I’d happily recommend this place to families. The rooms and food were good, and the staff were wonderful. Henry and Alex were so helpful, and Abel was very friendly at breakfast. There’s a bus stop right beside the hotel, and it’s near Grand lisboa, senado square, Macau Tower and san Paolo church.
