Grand Coloane Resort

We had no problems during our stay, and Grand Coloane felt welcoming and relaxing for the price. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, and the WiFi was great. Staff were super friendly. Getting into the city center is easy by shuttle or taxi, though taxis could take a while to catch at the resort. Breakfast was okay, and dinner had a nice range of cuisines. Some facilities are showing their age, especially the carpets, and there’s no convenience store or other services nearby. It’s a good option for families, and we’d consider staying again on our next Macau trip.

We celebrated my birthday here, and I was very happy with the stay. Everyone was friendly and lovely, especially Eva in the lounge, who made our afternoon tea set feel special. The tea itself was amazing and nicely made, and the breakfast buffet was very good too. The rooms are big and the beds are comfy. We’ll be back, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We liked the hotel enough to extend our stay. The ocean views are beautiful, and we mostly stayed on site, apart from walks along Hac Sa Beach. From the far end of the beach, you can get onto the Family Trail, a pleasant hike with lovely sea views. The food and drinks were excellent, especially the drinks Eva made at the Lounge. We also enjoyed the Lounge, the Chinese restaurant on 3/F, and Sakura, the Japanese restaurant on the 9th floor. Service stood out everywhere, from the waitstaff and concierge to the health spa team. Everyone was attentive and kind.

There’s plenty to do here for different kinds of travelers. We enjoyed the two pools, hot tub jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, spa, and engaging kids’ club, so families, couples, or solo guests can all find something to enjoy. The rooms are spacious, and the beach-view balcony was a highlight, especially for watching sunrise and sunset. It’s a peaceful spot away from Macau’s busy areas, but getting around is still easy even though the resort sits a little off the main strip. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout. It made for a delightful, memorable holiday, with comfort and natural scenery in a quiet setting. Highly recommended.
