Ole London Hotel

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean.

There’s no fridge, but we did get two bottles of water, a basic little hair dryer, and disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, a comb, shower cap, and razor. The water pressure was good, and for the price we were happy. We also found some tasty food nearby: Bao Fu Hin Restaurant had generous portions at a decent price, and Lan Jie Desserts was in the area too. We arrived early in the morning and the front desk let us leave our bags before check-in so we could explore nearby. The front desk aunties were welcoming and pointed us to a place locals eat. They were right! I’d read reviews complaining about soundproofing, but it didn’t bother us. We heard nothing in the room, just a very faint bit of noise from the bathroom at night. The bed was firm in a way I liked, so I slept well, though it came with only one pillow.

There are lots of little restaurants and attractions nearby. The two aunties were kind and helped us from the start of our stay right through checkout. Nice hotel, and I’d come back. Don’t worry ❤️🫰

It’s easy to get to the old town from here, and you can use the free shuttle from Pointe 16 to and from the border and ferry port. The room was a little small, but clean and cozy. The owner was friendly and gave us helpful information.
