Happy Family Hotel is small, but conveniently located by the famous Casino Lisboa and Macau's tourist spots. The price feels fair given the pros and cons, and being near the sights is the biggest plus. The staff are friendly and attentive. There's decent room space, a shower with proper water conditioning, and an air conditioning unit that also works as a heater. Don't expect much of a view, though the window gives some ambient light. The bed is really stiff, but the blanket is thick and soft. There's a faint cigarette smell in the hotel, which they tried to cover with deodorizer.

It's budget friendly and in a great location, but I asked for a non-smoking room and the smoke smell in the one they gave me was awful. The hallway smelled too. Maybe my neighbors were smoking on that floor. Hopefully management will pay more attention to this.

The location was perfect for me, with a free airport shuttle and Grand Lisboa within walking distance. The room wasn't that small, and it had a clean bathroom of decent size, good air conditioning, and a clean bed with nice white sheets. Really worth every penny.

The room was horribly small, and the hotel felt like a small place crammed with too many rooms. For a budget hotel, it was too expensive. The staff, though, were so nice and helpful. The main thing going for it is the downtown location, close to the tourist spots. It's a 15-minute walk to Ruins of St. Paul's Church and just two minutes to Lisboa Hotel and Casino. The building sits on a small street and can be hard to spot from the main road. You'll need to ask someone or look it up on Google Map.

This is the worst hotel or motel I've ever stayed in. It smelled like an old, worn-out club. Walk-in was HKD1,600 a night, while online booking was only HKD400-500.
