The location felt safe and put us close to the old town, though the hotel itself was a little tricky to spot. Google Maps showed it accurately. Staff at the front desk were kind and helpful, but if you don't speak Chinese, having a translation app ready is a good idea. My single room was tiny, as expected in Macau/HK, but the room and bathroom were clean. The bed was very hard, so it may not suit you if you like a softer mattress. I could also hear hallway noise through the door.

For five days at Ka Meng Villa, I found the room clean and check-in quick and smooth. The receptionists were friendly too. Ruins of St. Paul and Senado Square were nearby, and there was a night market just around the corner that was fun to see.

The staff were friendly and ready to help. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. There’s a water dispenser in the shared area, and they can lend you an international plug. You can also ask reception for a hairdryer.

Late arrival was fine, and I was happy with the hard beds since I like them that way. The rooms were clean, the staff nice, and the location very good. Simple place, great value for the price.

I had a nice stay. The room was small, but there was enough space, it was clean, and the amenities were all there. The WiFi signal wasn't very dependable. Communicating with the front desk was the one difficulty, since the staff member I spoke with didn't speak English well.
