I spent two nights in the Tritonii apartment. The location in Valletta is the main thing going for it, but in my eyes the area itself looked bad. Cleanliness was questionable, and I don't think the place was worth the money. I wouldn't return even at half the price.

The location was excellent, and the jacuzzi was nice, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Our two-bedroom penthouse suite was barely big enough for two people, let alone four. The apartment was filthy, with dirty, ripped or stained furnishings and pubes in the bedding. The sauna didn't work. It took two lifts to reach the apartment, and you had to stand still inside them or they would stop. Customer service from the main company was poor. The representatives tried to help, but management couldn't be reached and didn't investigate the issues fully.

I had a reservation for October 10th-15th, but my mother suddenly passed away and I had to fly home from Sicily to the USA. I contacted them on September 30th, even offering to provide a copy of the death certificate. They didn't answer my email and refused to refund any of the money. I tried reaching them through several email addresses. Horrible customer service.

We were really happy we booked here. The place is clean, nicely finished, well located and great value. Virginia, who looks after you, is extremely handy. The main downsides were noise, hot water that was shared and often barely warm by 0900, and a mattress that wasn't very comfortable. A proper coffee machine in the apartment would have been a nice extra. Apart from those things, everything was really good and I can't fault the stay. Thanks!
