The bedroom had a constant, awful hum, like being on an airplane, and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, Apartment No. 7 on the building's top floor had a severe cockroach problem, especially in the kitchen. We saw so many every day that the apartment felt unlivable. We couldn't eat, cook, or use the facilities, which was hugely disappointing and nothing like what the listing led us to expect. We contacted them five times about it, on 26 December 2024, 27 December 2024, 30 December 2024, 1 January 2025, and 8 January 2025, and never got a reply. I can't recommend this place to anyone. I'd strongly advise avoiding it.

The beds and sofas were extremely uncomfortable, everything seemed old, and the apartments were filthy. Cockroaches were all over the place, especially in the kitchen and bedrooms. There was also a lot of noise, like being in an airplane. When I tried getting help from the host and booking.com, nobody wanted to do anything. I'm posting here because booking.com deleted my review, which explains why the place is so highly reviewed there. I'd avoid it at all costs.

The apartments are attractive, in a great spot near the city centre and shops, and the residential neighborhood is quiet. The aircon worked well. Inside, though, the mattress was old and creaky, and the towels were stained. They charge for changing the sheets, and we were charged £45 euros on top of the original price for a full room clean, costs we hadn't been told about. There were no cleaning products, and communication was poor.

We were satisfied overall, and the location worked well for a Valletta trip. The AC was nice and cool, though the bed was small and there was hardly anything in the kitchen.
