We've stayed at the G-House twice now, and the second visit was just as good, maybe even better. The house is tastefully decorated and gives you a real feel for Malta indoors. We got useful ideas for things to do from both the books and the guest books, and the welcome basket let us try some local produce before we'd even unpacked. Raymond's airport transfer was incredibly smooth, and Aldo was very helpful beforehand, answering our questions and making the holiday more special. We'd recommend the G-House to anyone coming to Valletta. We already have!

We had a wonderful week at the Valletta G House, after hearing about it before leaving Australia. It was heavily booked, but luckily we managed to change our other accommodation and flights to stay from 10th-17th June. We weren't disappointed. The house is comfortable and has been lovingly, tastefully restored. Its location is perfect for exploring Valletta's old city, and after busy days it was lovely to come back to all the facilities and comfort of the G House. Raymond helped us settle in and answered our questions about the house and Valletta. The welcome basket of local produce was a lovely, delicious gesture. Nearby, we enjoyed fresh fish from the market and local cheeses, breads, olives and wine. There's no need for a car. Walking the little cobbled streets is delightful, and the nearby bus station made it easy to explore beyond Valletta.

Those old stone steps and low ceilings give the house a real sense of the past, while it still has the modern comforts you need. It was immaculate and gorgeous, right in the heart of Valletta, just metres from the once-rife 'Gut'. We stayed from 3rd - 10th May 2013 and had an amazing time exploring this incredible mini-city. If you're visiting Malta, I can't recommend it enough.

I loved having a kitchen in the house, and it's a lovely one. I got into the habit of picking up a pastry while out, then having it with home-brewed espresso as I planned the next day. The bedroom was much bigger than a hotel room, and there were plenty of books, including local cookbooks I made good use of. It also gave me a comfortable place to sort through my notes each evening and get ready for the next day. I chose Valletta G-House because it was close to the Mediterranean Conference Centre, where I was visiting for work. That turned out to be a terrific choice, and I'd return in a heartbeat. The place is thoughtfully equipped. Whenever I found myself wishing for something, I looked around and there it was. The house sits between two main shopping streets, on the quieter end. I got to know the small grocery and essentials shops nearby, along with a few coffee shops. Valletta was quiet at night in November, and I walked around quite a bit without feeling even slightly uneasy. As a woman traveling alone, being able to get around freely mattered a lot, and made my work trip much easier. I can't say what it's like in high season. There's plenty left for me to see in Valletta, and I'm looking forward to another visit. I'd have no hesitation choosing G-House again. Thanks to Aldo and Joseph for making the stay so memorable.

Raymond, who handles the property's day-to-day management in Malta, sorted out any questions or problems very quickly. The airport pickup was included in the rate and was friendly and efficient. We spent 7 days at Valetta G-House in June, and the accommodation was beautifully presented, with excellent service from beginning to end. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Valetta, and I'd recommend the G-House to anyone considering it.
