Valletta Lucente

Hotel Lucente is right in the heart of Valletta, with beautiful rooms and excellent service. It's stunning, and I highly recommend it. Vicki and David Greve Pittsburgh USA

The service is awesome, and a delicious breakfast is included. The room is beautiful too. It can get quite noisy at night if you pick a balcony room, but it's not a big deal if you go to bed after midnight. One of the best hotels to stay at.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They let us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. We stayed at this charming hotel for 4 days; our clean, comfortable rooms each had their own style. There was a little surprise every day, sometimes a goodnight story and once a bouquet of flowers. The location is perfect, right in the centre. A useful detail: the address is 20A, not 20, and the cab can't pull up right outside because the street is made of steps. Breakfast could have a bit more variety.

For our 5th wedding anniversary, we stayed at Valletta Lucente Guest House and had a beautiful time. Our suite was honestly the loveliest hotel room we've ever stayed in. It had been decorated with swans and rose petals for the occasion, such a lovely touch. The guest house is charming as soon as you arrive, with lots of historic features, high ceilings in the breakfast room and murals along the stairwell walls. All the staff made us feel welcome at check-in and took time to mark places of interest on a map. They pointed out several places we wouldn't have known to visit. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Valletta, with the main attractions just minutes away on foot. We also enjoyed dinner at one of the stairway restaurants, which had a lovely atmosphere. We found handmade ceramics for sale at the reception and bought a beautiful, one-of-a-kind tile that will remind us of the holiday. We highly recommend the guest house and plan to book again next year as we arrange more trips to Valletta.
