The beach was wonderfully quiet, and the island felt remote and peaceful. We slept well in clean rooms with comfortable beds, and the stay was good value. At K-Inn, Ahmad and Abbas looked after us from the moment we arrived, taking us around the island and arranging trips, including some beautiful snorkeling. We had a great time.

The food was fresh, local, and delicious, and we were always served quickly with a smile. Definitely try the Maldivian breakfast. We also loved the stunning beach, and on our first night we saw dolphins beyond the reef. Getting to a local island had me a little nervous, since this was our first visit to the Maldives, but Yoosuf answered all my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. His team were incredibly hospitable. From the fishing to the snorkeling and everything in between, we had such a wonderful time. The people, nature, and food made this a highlight of our travels. Thank you!

The rooms were even better than the photos, clean and spacious, with a private bathroom, AC, and hot water. We also really enjoyed the varied, very good food at the hotel's restaurant. We had an awesome six-day stay at K Inn and were sorry to leave for another island. The hosts were kind and attentive, quick to respond, and reliable. They helped organize everything, from transport from the airport to activities and excursions. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, authentic holiday in the Maldives.

We had a nice four-day stay. The island was inexpensive, and Ahmed let us rent his beat-up scooter for $10 a day. The hotel had a shared clothes washer and refrigerator, the AC worked really well, and our room was clean when we arrived. The balcony had a decent view. They picked us up at the ferry and carried our things to the hotel, then dropped us back at the ferry when we left. There were a few room problems: the door lock was frustrating, the sink smelled like a sewer because there was no p trap, the shower never got hot, and a few roaches came up through the shower drain. Ahmed kept trying to upsell us to a pricier package. We ate at the restaurant one night and waited about 1.5 hours for our food.

The island itself is charming and rustic, and people were helpful and friendly. I had a great time watching the World Cup Final with them. Many thanks to Ille, who was always available and helpful. The location worked fine for me: the harbour and bay are a short walk away, and the neighbourhood was mostly very quiet. One night someone played loud music, but the family asked them to turn it down and they did. My window looked out at the communications tower. The nicer western beach is about 1.5 km away, though the whole village is a long way from it; there's another beach option about 1 km in the opposite direction, nearer the village's east end. The rooms are mostly perfect, but the poor sound insulation was a real problem. Even with only two or three rooms occupied, I was put below a noisy Russian family, and every footstep sounded like a drum in my room. Someone in the family was up at some point every night, so I never slept through a full night. That's a construction issue, not the staff's fault. I spoke to the family in Russian, but they ignored me. Maybe request a room upstairs or away from a family. Hospitality was mostly excellent. I didn't give five stars because the employee couldn't give me clear information about excursions and told me to wait for the owner to explain prices and group options. The owner did show up that evening, but introduced himself and then left before I realized he'd gone. I assumed he'd be back, but he never returned. I should have called to arrange an activity, but kept putting it off and missed out the next day.
