The place feels a little dated, but the price seems fair for it. It’s also close to two beaches.

The location is perfect, and I’ve been coming to Hotel Los Reyes with my family for years. Still, I don’t enjoy the setting or the lack of peace. Traditional Acapulco has a feel you won’t get at a luxury resort, but the hotel needs to take upkeep more seriously. The rooms are very dirty and not cleaned properly. Some faucets don’t work, lighting is poor, and the bathrooms can smell bad and sometimes have no curtains. The sheets look old and are in deplorable condition. I’m saying this as a chance for the place to keep attracting more tourists, not as a complaint.

The staff were friendly, and the service was very good during my recent visit. It’s inexpensive, and I had a pleasant stay. I’d give it five stars and will be back soon.
