It was very quiet, and security was really good. The room itself was tiny and basic, but fine for somewhere to sleep. The beach is about a 5-minute drive away. Free breakfast had fruit, juice, bread, and cereal; everything else cost extra.

The pool was a relaxing spot, and the hotel was quiet and private. Its guarded setting is convenient for the beach, about 5 minutes away, and it’s right on the main shopping strip. It’s in the diamond area, though, so central acapulco is on the other side of the mountian. The site photos were accurate, and the hotel was clean during our 4 nights/5days. There were two of us with reservations, but we couldn’t check in until after 3pm. Our room had three double beds even though the hotel wasn’t full, which seemed like a lot of wasted space. We also weren’t allowed to leave the air conditioner running when we went out. The day manager wasn’t very friendly and didn’t make us feel welcome.

The only real drawback is getting to the beach: it isn’t too far, but you can’t walk there and need a ride. The price works out well for the location, which is near restaurants and stores. Nice place and nice staff.
