The people are what made our anniversary stay so memorable. Raul Zavala and Jasmin Espinoza made us feel like family, with thoughtful little touches and a warmth that lasted throughout the stay. Every staff member seemed to bring that same care. Jorge at the bar was a daily highlight, with great drinks and conversation that made it hard to leave the lounge chair. Jerry and the bell staff were warm, attentive, and glad to help whenever we saw them. The whole team made every interaction feel personal, from arrival through checkout. The food, drinks, and service across the property were outstanding. We’re already talking about coming back, and hope Four Seasons recognizes Raul Zavala, Jasmin Espinoza, Jorge, Jerry, and the whole team for the standard they maintain. They’re why guests become loyal for life. My wife and I were blown away by Tamarindo from start to finish. I’ve stayed at quite a few Four Seasons properties in the US and Mexico, and this is hands down my favorite. The property is stunning and one of a kind. Thank you for making our anniversary one we’ll never forget.

The employees are what really make this property shine. They all go above and beyond to make the stay the best experience possible. The food is out of this world, with thoughtful menus and amazing use of local resources. The architecture, rooms, and facilities are beautifully built. One of the best Four Seasons properties, without a doubt. Thanks for everything, we’ll be back!

We were blown away by our trip to Four Seasons Tamarindo. It’s an absolutely beautiful resort, with stunning views, crystal clear water, and perfect weather. The staff were kind and extremely helpful, and the food and drink options were 5-star. I even found a new love for tequila and tamales. I’d highly recommend it for anyone after a quiet, quaint retreat.

The property is breathtaking, and the staff are genuinely wonderful. I’ve known Four Seasons hotels since I was four, and started booking under my own name and credit card in my early 20s. By now I’ve stayed at properties in Hawaii, California, Florida, the Bahamas, Texas, and Mexico, so I feel confident sharing my perspective. Some parts of the experience need work. Room service food was unfortunately not good at all. The breakfast buffet was quite good, but the taco and nacho spot was about a 2 out of 5. The food options need noticeable improvement to match the quality of the property and service. I also expected a well-curated boutique like the beautiful shops at other destination Four Seasons properties, given the size of this one. The boutique here was quite underwhelming by comparison. I hope to return in a few years and have a more elevated experience that reflects the Four Seasons standard I’ve come to know and love.

The view from our room and the mansion was stunning, and every person we met went out of their way to make us feel cared for. My husband and I had a wonderful time: we loved Tamarindo beach, snorkeling, the coffee workshop, and the taco tasting at Nacho. We also enjoyed kayaking, the reserve and Rancho Lola tours, and all the restaurants. The spa facilities and service were top notch, and the food was amazing. We can't wait to return.
