Flakos Hostel has a great feel to it, and the owners are so friendly, easy to talk to, and ready to help. The dorm was comfortable, the kitchen is open, and the place was super clean. Loved the outdoor showers, pool, dogs, chill-out spots, campfires at night, and the terrace beside the pool. The sunset volleyball sessions were unforgettable. There are fun things to do nearby, including fishing tours with whale watching, pickleball, turtle releases, and visits to an animal rescue refuge. The supermarket and airport are both close. I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back! 🌅🐕🏐🐋

The owners were incredibly kind and helped us arrange things to do nearby, including kayaking and releasing turtles on the beach at sunset. We had such a peaceful, relaxing holiday and loved staying here. We’ll definitely return. Hostel Flakos is right by beautiful Playa Blanca. Our bungalow was incredible, with a really comfy bed, good air conditioning, a cool modern look, and a dream of an outdoor shower. It felt very luxurious for a hostel.

The accommodations are brand new and absolutely beautiful, and the owners go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable, fun stay. The beach is just steps away, and there’s a store next door with everything you need. We had the best stay at Hostel Flakos. I’d recommend it to anyone!

I spent two nights at Flakos for my birthday, and Sebastian and Samara upgraded me to a bungalow. That was so lovely of them, and I felt really spoiled! They even arranged wood for a bonfire and celebrated on the beach with me and my friends. I can’t recommend this hostel enough. Thanks again, guys 🥰🫶🏻

A real treat of a place. The owners were lovely and attentive, and helped with every question I had. The hostel is a couple of minutes from the beach, right beside a tienda. Combis pass out front every half hour and connect you to Zihuatanejo. It’s a beautiful place to stay, whether you want to explore nearby or just relax.
