The hotel seems new or remodeled, and the rooms are nice. The bathroom was fine, though the walls are thin. Staff were okay. They require official ID from every guest aged 18 or older. There’s no heated pool, and breakfast costs $300 MX, compared with $145 MX outside. It’s not near tourist spots like downtown.

The location is handy, near Bodega, Starbucks, Toks, and a great chicken shop. We had a comfortable, quiet room, enjoyed the gym, and found the staff helpful and friendly. The shower head was old and splashed water everywhere, though. Management should replace it.

At checkout they tried to charge us extra, saying they’d counted the money incorrectly when we checked in. There was confusion over the suite, too: when we booked, we were told it could fit four people, but on arrival they said only one person could use each bed, no matter what kind of room we’d reserved. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially with a very nice Marriott across the street.
