Casa Chi

We booked three nights and somehow stayed six. The host made us feel like part of the family. He speaks Spanish, and when he could tell we were having trouble following, he slowed down and used simple words. He also speaks a little English. He suggested places to see and offered to drive us to some of them. The price felt fair for the standard and quality. Both the room and bathroom were clean and nice, and there's a spacious shared kitchen. Casa Chi isn't a luxury hotel, but the atmosphere is unforgettable. We met some really nice people there, and we'll remember this place for a long time.

It's not right in the centre, so you get to experience a bit of local life. We needed to change our dates, and that was no problem. Our room was big and lovely, with its own bathroom, hot water and air conditioning. There's also a large kitchen with all the equipment you need. We love this place. Super Chi is such a wonderful person and makes it feel like home. If you want to see the most beautiful cenote, ask him about it.

The nearby amenities are handy, with a supermarket, pharmacy, fruteria, liquor store and laundry close by. It's quiet at night, and the rooms are large, very comfortable, clean and have huge beds. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own food. Chi is what makes the place so special. He'll go out of his way to help, whether you need a ride to the colectivo or somewhere else. We really appreciated his cenote advice, and loved chatting with him and the other guests. It feels like a home away from home. And Draco, the beautiful pup, made our day every day!

Casa Chi’s was a fantastic stay, with a tidy, clean room, friendly people and a lovely kitchen area. Señor Chi was a great host and helped us sort out bikes and other things we wanted to do nearby. The one thing that needs attention is the shower, touching it might give you a bit of a shock.
