We could easily walk into town from the hotel, using the well-lit pedestrian bridge across the river. The staff at both the hotel and its restaurant were really friendly, and we enjoyed the food and drinks there. It was my first visit to Calvillo, and I’d happily stay here again.
The place feels warm, clean, and elegant, but still down to earth. I’ve stayed here twice now and was impressed both times. The receptionists are all so sweet and professional, and the customer service is top-notch. This is the only place I’ll stay when I’m in Calvillo.
It’s an easy walk to the centro, and the hotel itself is nice. Just know that the restaurants close on Mondays, and online booking doesn’t work.
It looks like a nice place, but the service has been awful. I’ve been trying to make a reservation since October 2020. The phone is always busy, no one answers, and I haven’t had any reply to my emails either.
Such a pretty, peaceful spot, and the location is great.
