We came across this hostel while walking around town, popped in to look, and booked a couple of nights right away. We ended up staying a week. It’s only a couple of months old, so everything felt new, nice, and clean, and there were only a few guests while we were there. The common area was our favorite, with comfy sofas, a TV, hanging chairs, a ping-pong table, and a nice spot for meals. The shared kitchen was well equipped for cooking and had drinking water. The toilets and showers were very clean too. The shower was probably the best we had during our two months in Mexico, with really hot water and great pressure. Nights were very quiet, so it’s good for resting, not a party hostel. WiFi worked really well, and my partner used it for work. The receptionist was a friendly, funny woman who speaks English. Her cute cat hangs around the hostel and was very chill. My partner is allergic, but didn’t have many problems. She also served us coffee and toast in the morning, a nice touch. Private rooms were $380, and if I remember right, dorms were $230, good prices for a comfortable hostel. The downside is that the private rooms are very small, with only a couple of hooks and no shelves, so there isn’t really room to unpack. Maybe management could look into that. The dorms seemed cozy and spacious, though I don’t think they had storage either. Every room has a safety box, which is good. We were told there were specific times for hot showers, but usually had to ask for the hot water to be turned on. It wasn’t a problem for us, but could be smoother for future stays. If you take a night bus, you can leave your luggage there, but after midday you can’t use the showers or kitchen. That seemed odd, since most hostels let you use all the facilities. It’s very clean, quiet, welcoming, and in a great location. You can walk everywhere in town and to ADO. I’d recommend staying here.

The owner went out of her way to help with whatever questions I had. She arranged trips, booked my airport shuttle, and explained how to get to different places. She also let me leave my things at the hostel and shower in the evening after checkout. Everything was very clean and new, and there’s a sweet cat called Cosmo :) One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, and definitely the best in Latin America!

We had a really good time here and would recommend it to travelers on a small budget. The rooms are cozy and well arranged, though be aware they don’t have real windows, and there isn’t much privacy in the shared bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious, and the bright, cheerful central patio is a lovely place to relax. We loved it! There’s a kitchen you can use too. Perfect for backpackers! 👍🏻

The three sisters who run this cozy, clean hostel are so nice. It’s great value, and the large breakfast is included. The internet is a little weak, but the kitchen, other perks, and great group of people staying there make up for it. I’d definitely recommend it and hope to stay again!

The terrace is the best part, and you can enjoy the view while eating since there’s a kitchen. The rooms are cozy and simple, with hot water. It’s right in the middle of everything, about 10 minutes from the old market and 10 minutes from downtown. Bring cash, they don’t accept credit cards. Very recomendable!
