It’s cheap, but I regret staying there. The place was very dirty, and the bed had only a bottom sheet, so bring your own travel sheet. Another guest said you need courage to use the bathroom. Yuck.

It was so filthy that we cancelled our stay that night and went looking for somewhere else. I really recommend avoiding it.

The photos made the place look good, but in person it was filthy and in terrible shape. The pool had green water and trash, and the animals were kept in appalling conditions. In the rooms, the air conditioning didn’t work, there was no water, and there was no electricity. The doors didn’t even have locks. We had booked the entire hostel, but the owner never showed up or kept any of her promises. She left an alcoholic security guard behind, who stole a cell phone, a speaker, a battery, and even money. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

We felt right at home at this quiet, pleasant hostel in Campeche. The owner and both staff members were friendly and attentive to what we needed. Our room was lovely and had fresh air, though it could use a little more room for six beds. The historic center is quite close. Thanks for having us.
