Mercado 23 is just a few minutes away on foot, and that's the main reason I'd book this place again. We only needed somewhere to sleep with AC on our arrival night. There wasn't any hot water, even after we followed the front desk's advice to let it run for a while. Still, it did the job, and I'd use it again for an overnight stop coming into or leaving town.

The room key card quit working after a single use. The AC ran for maybe two hours total over the 48 hours, and hot water only came on after they realized I wasn't going to stop trying until it worked. I also saw a lot of reviews that seemed fake. It makes Cancun hotels feel like a gamble. Maybe Airbnb is a better bet, since the reviews there give you a little more to judge by.

A clean, quiet, basic place to sleep. My room was clean, and the reception staff were really friendly. The neighborhood isn't very nice, but I felt safe during my stay. It's a short drive to downtown Cancun and fairly close to the hotel area, so getting there was easy. Reception didn't speak English, but the service was still good. Thank you, everyone was very kind.

They let us check in early, and checkout wasn't until 1 pm. The room was clean, and breakfast downstairs was both tasty and inexpensive. A pleasant stay.

The water smelled awful, and so did the place. There was no Wi-Fi, customer service was terrible, and they couldn't speak English. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
