Hotel Costa Maria

The coffee shop downstairs is lovely, but getting to other restaurants meant a long walk or a bus. There was a large usable terrace upstairs at the back, though nowhere to sit outside near the room. Inside, the room smelled and felt damp, and its only window faced the corridor. Guests were noisy in the halls, and dogs barked very nearby, which seems fairly common in Mexico. The shower got hot, but its head needed cleaning or replacing. With basic comforts missing, this didn't feel like a comfortable hotel. It seemed more like a one-night stop for oil rig workers than a place for tourists.
