The room curtains were filthy and stiff, and they wouldn’t close properly until I asked to have them changed. The bathrooms were very dirty too. Sheets and towels had stains, and the mattresses were old, stained, and didn’t even have fitted sheets. This place is expensive for what you get. Don’t waste your money here.

We were thinking about leaving just an hour after arriving. There was a dying cockroach on our room floor, and the explanation was that they were fumigating the rooms. The pool looked cloudy and gross, the bar was closed for “renovations,” and the small bathrooms were unclean. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived, and the showerhead was dirty. A very poor hotel, in my view. I wouldn’t recommend it; spending a little more elsewhere could make for a much better stay.

For the price, the location is fantastic, near the town square, shops, and lots of places to eat. The staff were very friendly, and the WiFi was really fast. The beds and bathroom aren’t five-star, but I’d recommend staying for a few nights if you just need a place to rest.

There are places right across from the hotel and beside it to eat typical food and oaxaqueño chocolate. For nightlife, there’s a bar across the street where you can dance and sing. The location is good.
