The food was delicious and the staff were kind, and it’s a lovely place with two pools. Still, I asked for extra towels three different times and never got one. Such a basic thing would have made the stay much better.

We loved our time here. The cabins sit in a gorgeous setting, with lovely views from plenty of spots and two pools. The restaurant is a nice place to unwind over good food, and the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly.

The grounds with the cabaños aren’t large, but they’re really picturesque, with two pools, one for children and one for adults, plus a cozy restaurant. It was a lovely spot to get away from noisy towns and traffic and be surrounded by forest, fresh air, and quiet. My spouse and I stayed in a family bungalow made of wood and bamboo. It was very simple, but had what we needed: a comfortable bed downstairs and two beds in the attic, a bathroom, and a balcony with a small table, two chairs, and a wonderful view of Cuetzalan. I came away feeling reset, like I’d finally given my body and mind the physical and mental rest they deserved.

The cabanas are small and simple, for a natural sort of stay, but they’re comfortable.
