Back for my second stay. Jose, the property manager, is fantastic, and the place is comfortable with good AC. There’s a great view from the porch, which has built-in benches, a hammock, and a table with chairs.

It’s a very run-down apartment, not a whole house. Everything was broken while I was there, and the place smelled like old socks. I also thought the endangered turtle skulls used as decorations were in very bad taste.
El Cuyo still has some magic that mainstream tourism hasn’t spoiled too much. This is one of my favorite places here.
A terrace looks out over the beach, and you’re just steps from the shore. The summer house is really comfortable, with air conditioning and all the amenities. It’s a spectacular spot to switch off from the world and enjoy the beach. Highly recommended.
Mr. José, the owner’s assistant, was such a good person and did his best to accommodate what guests needed. He was very helpful and easy to deal with. Mr. Manuel, the owner, was attentive and approachable too. Excellent place, I highly recommend it.
