Hotel Paraíso Las Palmas

Really nice hotel, with very comfortable beds, a pleasant pool area, and even a playground for kids out back.

The only thing I’d change is the upkeep of the back area with the playground and tables. We had a lovely family weekend, and the friendly, courteous staff met all our needs. The rooms were clean, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the modern bathroom was clean and working well. There was hot water too, unlike what earlier reviews had said.

The rooms were the best part, clean and spacious. The hotel didn’t honor the price listed on its website, and the staff need more customer service training and friendlier manners. The hot jacuzzi wasn’t working, the pool filter was off, there was no coffee, and the rooms had no microwave. Also, the cleaning staff should respect it when guests say they don’t want their room cleaned.

The cleaning staff and security were very nice, and the jacuzzi and restaurant were working. But the front desk staff were horrible and not friendly at all. They asked for a 500.00 pesos deposit at check-in, then kept it, saying our pool towels were dirty. The towel in the pictures I’m posting was dirty because of mold and water leaking all the time. There was mold all over the shower and tile, none of the bedside lamps worked because they were broken, and one bed’s base was broken from the frame. They kept 500.00 pesos over one dirty towel that would cost 5 dollars to replace. UNREAL. I’ll never stay here again.
