We really enjoyed breakfast on the porch overlooking the valley, and Teresa, the owner, was hospitable, kind, and fun to talk with. The house, rooms, and several gardens have a gorgeous, distinctive style. Great views of the valley and surrounding mountains, with a peaceful, relaxing feel. I'm glad my partner and I chose Quinta Maria for our trip to the Valle. We hope to return :)

The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and we found the gardens lovely, with lots of outdoor spots to stretch out and relax. The creative layout makes the place feel secluded, yet it was easy to find with the directions, location markers, and Google Maps. Our room was clean and stocked, and the bed was comfortable, not too soft or firm. We had two suggestions. A showerhead that can be repositioned for different heights and shower sizes, and has adjustable pressure, would help. The pressure was strong, but it stung and sprayed everywhere. Also, the dogs barked during the night. Cristal brought them in when I asked, but whenever they went back out to use the bathroom or whatever, they barked again and woke us at 6 am.

I was there for a wedding, and the place looked incredible. Walking through the courtyard, with all its flowers and colors, was lovely against the desert scenery and hills. The wedding setup was beautifully decorated, and the hills in the background made a striking view. I liked the local dishes and the makeshift tents built from local materials, which gave people shade in the yard. At night the party area, lit by a fire pit, looked great, but the stars overhead were what made it special. As a travel and nature photographer and nature addict, I found those views and the night sky well worth it!

We had a delightful, peaceful stay, with a cute setting, comfortable bed, clean rooms, and superb hospitality. Breakfast was outstanding. The road from the highway is a little rough, though being secluded is part of the charm.
