The staff were nice, but there are some serious problems. This place has bedbugs, see the photo. Most rooms are close to the street, which gets very loud in the morning. In two rooms, the ceiling fans made a clinking sound every time they rotated.

The location is easily the best part, right by Guadalajara’s historic center. There’s an OXXO across the street for snacks and drinks at any hour, plus lots of places to eat nearby, including Finca Riveroll, Cafe Coltrane, Asador Coronilla, La Llorona, and La Casona de Maria Felix. The hotel itself is small and primitive, with very firm beds and no air conditioning. Hot water was hit or miss, and without screens on the windows, mosquitoes came in when I had to leave the window open for air. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though.

I only stopped by to use the public restroom, since I wasn’t staying there. The place looked clean, and the staff were very kind, supportive, and polite given the circumstances.
