Origen 438 Luxury Boutique Hotel

I spent four full days inside this hotel during the Jaliscazo of 2026, and it was a great place to stay in Guadalajara. The staff were wonderful. Some even slept at the hotel overnight so they could keep providing service. The bar is well stocked with tequila and Mezcal, and the restaurant was incredible, with excellent food from breakfast through dinner. My room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable too, and the shower had hot water and great pressure.

The guard at the entrance was truly disrespectful. Even after we explained that our guide was there to pick up guests, he rudely refused to let him park in the hotel's parking area.

The spa was a highlight for me. Inspired by Morocco, it felt like a relaxing sanctuary, and both the sauna and massage were incredible. The meals were memorable too, with delicious food, lovely presentation, and plenty of variety. Breakfast, room service, and dinner were all great. The rooms were spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Service was attentive from the moment we arrived, including a warm welcome drink at the bar. Origen 438 Luxury Hotel is well located, easy to get around from, and still feels like a peaceful retreat. It exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return.

We got to Guadalajara's historic sites, restaurants, and city culture easily because the hotel is close to downtown. The staff made our five-day stay especially easy, welcoming us warmly and letting us check in early and leave late. The food was delicious, and the bar was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised by two complimentary drinks, and the cocktails were expertly made in a lovely setting for unwinding. The clean, well-equipped gym was great for staying active. Miguel, one of the waiters, deserves a special mention for his attentive, friendly service that made our meals better. This stay exceeded my expectations, and I'd absolutely come back for the service, food, amenities, and location.
