Hotel Victoria Ejecutivo

For five days straight, the food was bad and cold, and the service was poor. Not once did I get my food as expected. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all, and I don’t understand who gave it four stars. I never write reviews, but this time I felt I had to.

This is our third year returning to Hotel Victoria Ejecutivo, even after trying other hotels in Guadalajara. From arrival, the staff remember us, greet us warmly, and go out of their way to make things right. The rooms are spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the pillows are some of the best we’ve slept on. Those comforts and the hospitality make it feel like a home away from home. My one small suggestion is to add mini-refrigerators and microwaves to the rooms. That would top off an already lovely experience.

The spacious room, very comfortable beds, and hot shower made for a great stay, and there were no towel limits or restrictions. The buffet breakfast was great, and having a pool was a real plus. We got a much better deal here than at the other places we considered. It was one of the best hotel choices in the area, if not the best. I strongly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it!

Housekeeping staff were friendly and often checked on us, which was nice. The rooms were comfortable enough, and the breakfast buffet was good. Still, the cleaning missed details: there were stains on the countertops and dust throughout the room. At the restaurant, we were given dirty glasses with lipstick or food stains on two separate occasions. The front desk staff weren’t friendly and didn’t give detailed answers about amenities or do much to help. This is a basic hotel, not a luxury stay, and its three-star rating seems accurate. I don’t usually write reviews, but hope this helps someone.
