I travel a lot, and this is easily one of my top three stays. The property has a cozy, unique feel, a prime location, and wonderful service. Our unit had a private deck joined to the main deck, and it felt surreal. It gets sun from noon to sunset, with a great view for watching people and nature from above. The place was spotlessly clean, with big showers and washrooms, fresh cozy beds, and comfortable lounge chairs. It felt very safe and secure, and all the essentials were there, plus morning refreshments and a lovely shared living room and kitchen. We also had a private section of beachfront. The hotel sits right on the white sand. A 15-minute stroll along the beach gets you to the main strip, and walking the other way makes for a lovely long sunrise stroll. Two beach bars, two taco spots, and a grocery store are within a five-minute walk. Sunset corner is two minutes away, though we also enjoyed the sunset from the deck. I walked by some other resort properties I had considered and felt so grateful I booked at DK. Their views and balconies, if they had one, didn't compare with ours. Mila and Karina were warm, friendly, available without being intrusive, and offered helpful recommendations before we asked. Booking their car service from the airport saves hours of travel time.

What should have been a relaxing week in paradise felt like staying at a construction site. Roof work went on every day but one during my week-long visit, with hammering all day and debris pouring onto the balcony. The front desk offered to refund two nights and provide free breakfast, but six months later I still have no refund. I've contacted them several times and only received replies that kept stringing me along. No refund and no apology. Maybe a bad review will get them to honor their offer. Six months is far too long.

The view from the large upper-floor suite was breathtaking, and the setting was magnificent. It was an excellent stay, with a spacious, clean room and a beautiful bathroom, plus a king-size bed. The villa has only two or three bedrooms, so it's quiet, while being connected to a hotel whose amenities are available to guests, including a very good complimentary breakfast. I highly recommend it.

The beach view from the room was lovely, and the location itself is beautiful. The room had small double beds, though. The shared area felt dated and a bit dirty, and there were no services beyond room cleaning.

Karina looked after our arrival, explained the facilities, and suggested places to visit. The location is excellent for enjoying the beach away from the crowds. Great service and attention, highly recommended.
