The pool could use continuous treatment, especially when the hotel is full. The hotel itself is nice, though small, with I think 10 residents in total. The manager and her assistants are always friendly and generally very helpful. There are several restaurants nearby, and downtown is only a few minutes away. You can often spot dragonflies, parakeets, lizards, and hummingbirds around the area.

The facilities feel peaceful, and the service is excellent. They also include a delicious breakfast, which is a real plus. It’s very close to downtown Ixtapan and 15 minutes from Tonatico. I highly recommend it.

The manager is rude, bossy, and overbearing, making the service terrible. If you want privacy, this is NOT the place, and the whole stay feels unpleasant and uncomfortable. What a shame, such a waste of space. The facilities and cleanliness are very good, and the rooms are quite spacious.
