The service was great.

Our bath got cut short when the water ran out halfway through. There were three of us, but when I asked for extra towels, they said we could only have one each. The service was awful. Under the beds was filthy, and there were spiders. Maybe that's meant to be part of the experience?

We had a great stay for the price. The place is beautiful and very clean, and the rooms are comfortable. After visiting Izamal, relaxing by the pool in that heat was wonderfully refreshing. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, though the view is gorgeous. The only thing I'd correct is the booking agency description: it says there's a mini-fridge, but there isn't one. You have to register at the counter of the hotel next door so they can open the villa for you. Parking is on the street.

It's a beautiful, spacious villa, clean and safe, with a lovely view right outside. Tucked behind the convent, it's also in a very convenient spot with everything nearby. Highly recommended.

The place itself is very nice, but you can't rest if the hotel next door has an event. It belongs to the same hotel, and whether it's a wedding or a party, they don't offer any option except putting up with the noise.
