Río HOTEL y glamping

The service from Alejandro made a big difference to our stay. He was kind, enthusiastic, and attentive, and we felt right at home and well looked after. We also got to meet the owner, Mr. Quirino, and his wife, Mrs. Rosenda. They’re incredible people with a remarkable story of tenacity, a positive attitude, and gratitude for life. We left with more than memories of a place unlike anywhere we’d been before. We also took away some of their wisdom and saw their openness to keep improving Rio Glampimg. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the center of Jalpan. The rooms look like they float over a pond, where you can watch fish swimming back and forth. Beside it is the river, and you can hear the clear water and the trees along its banks. Our room had a distinctive design and lovely lighting, with enough space for a bed, an armchair, and a small but adequate bathroom with a shower. From inside, sitting or lying down, we could take in the pond, its small island, and the pool. The water looks greenish because of the ecosystem of the fish living there. We spent a lovely evening by the well-designed fire pit, roasting marshmallows and singing. They don’t have food service at the moment, but the center is so close that you can eat there or bring something back. Then you can rest or socialize around the property, swim, chat, play board games, or sit by the bonfire. Don’t hesitate to visit this beautiful, unique place near central Jalpan.
