We chose this place for a few days of scuba diving and snorkeling, and it was an easy walk to the dive shop each morning. When we didn't feel like walking to lunch or dinner, Ubers were very affordable. The hotel was also wonderfully quiet. They were flexible about our arrival and departure times, and although the booking through the official site linked on Google Maps didn't bring a confirmation email, they called the day before to check the reservation and make sure our arrival time worked. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

We came for two nights and ended up extending our stay. Hector was so kind, and he worked with us to adjust things after my wife had a small accident. The beds were clean and really comfortable, and there are lovely, authentic local restaurants nearby. I also went for two morning runs, with El Malecon only four blocks away. Thanks so much to Hector and Octavio for being so welcoming. We'd gladly recommend the place and come back.

Simple, affordable, and full of charm. From the modest exterior, you'd never guess how carefully the maritime decor is done inside. It's a small, cute boutique hotel, not far from downtown restaurants, bars, and the boardwalk.

The cafe wasn't open while we were there, which was a shame. Still, we'd stay again: the owner and staff were friendly, the place had loads of character, and restaurants were an easy walk away. The room was very quiet, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

Aquamarina Hotel made a comfortable and affordable base for our few nights in La Paz, and I loved how thoughtfully the place was put together. Hector, the owner, was a gracious, charming host, while Betty at reception was consistently warm and welcoming. We had a great experience and I highly recommend staying here.
