Hotel Mi Casita

We stayed in "The Studio" and had a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is in a great part of Taxco, and there was nice coffee and water in the room. I wasn’t keen on having to ask for the TV remote and return it when we left, as if they didn’t trust us. Still, the room and service were magnificent.

The hotel is cute and in a great location. I stayed for a couple of nights and loved the sunrise and sunset views. The amenities are minimal, as I expected, and the shower has hot water after a couple of minutes. The buzzer system to get let in and out was the one thing I didn’t like. I booked at the last minute, when a few comparable centrally located hotels were already full. I’d stay here again if there weren’t similar options available. One thing to know about the area: people come to Taxco to party, and they party hard. On Saturday, it was loud from around 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise and won’t be out then. 😅😅

What a beautiful place, in a great location for the heat of this lovely town. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms are small and quaint, and there is noise, though that’s to be expected this close to lively Taxco.

It’s a small hotel in a central spot, with beautiful views from the terrace. The rooms are nicely furnished, with lots of attention to detail, and the staff provide wonderful service. Our only concern was traffic noise, though our experience in Taxco suggests that’s common. We’d be sure to return if we come back one day.
