The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the artwork around the hotel gave it a great feel. Our room was spacious, breakfast was good, and the food was excellent. We loved the rooftop pool and its stunning views, and ended up coming up for a drink almost every night. It was our favorite stay in La Paz. The location was perfect, a short walk to the boardwalk and right by some of the best restaurants in town. It’s a beautiful hotel and we’d recommend it over any other option there.

The rooftop pool bar was a favorite, with a lovely view of the cathedral across the street and a relaxed feel. I was there on a tour and found the modern room comfortable. Breakfast had a delicious buffet, and the restaurant in the central courtyard served amazing shrimp tacos. The Malacón and lots of good restaurants are an easy walk away.

The rooftop pool and bar had an awesome view, and the personal service made the stay feel like being with family. The staff helped with check-in and checkout and shared plenty of ideas for tours, sights, and restaurants. Thanks to Paul, Diana, Carolina, Melissa, Norberto, Alejandro, Froylan, Homero and Damien for the excellent service. We had a great four-night stay at Hotel Catedral. Our room was clean, though a little dated, and everything else was above average.

We tried the hotel restaurant after eating out every night, and it was better than most places nearby. The free breakfast was also great, with authentic Mexican food and excellent flavor. The rooms were large, clean, and very quiet at night. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and supermarket, and the stay was excellent value.

The rooftop pool and bar offer nice city views, and breakfast is included and superb. Hotel Catedral made an excellent base for our La Paz adventures, with the Malecon and tons of restaurants just a short walk away. The rooms and staff were top notch. You’ll be hard pressed to do better.
