The rooms are very old, with TVs that aren't even flat screens. The elevator that still works made me fear for my life, and the staff treated us horribly. When I reported a problem, the guy with glasses at reception laughed in my face. Very disappointing. I would never come back, even for free.

The location was the main reason I can't give this place a bad review. It’s a short walk from the central garden and lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, especially the room attendant. But Real Rex looked quite different from the photos. The rooms and overall appearance were below par compared with the pictures, and the included breakfast was just coffee, toast, and watermelon. I’d recommend it if you want a cheap place to stay without upscale hotel extras.

We had a very bad stay. On our third night, bed bugs attacked my wife. You never know, I guess.

The location is perfect for visiting the main tourist attractions, and it's fine if all you need is a place to sleep. The furniture and blankets are old, though, and it doesn't look very clean.
