Update, November 16, 2025: I would never stay here again. The staff were terrible, there were spider nests under the bed, and the owner took $750.00 from us. Room cleaning was awful: they used the same bucket of water throughout the whole building and the sheets were stained every time they were changed. We couldn't get away fast enough. I'd strongly recommend finding somewhere else. One star only because there's no lower rating. Before our stay, I gave it five stars because we hadn't checked in yet. Anna had been fabulous about answering all my questions, however small or silly, and I was looking forward to meeting her. I was confident the rating would still be the same after our visit.

The beach is close by, and it's a beautiful place with clean, nice rooms. The Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable on the fourth floor, though it worked fine in the lobby. There's a small restaurant with a nice espresso machine. I'd happily return if I was in the area again.

The one good thing was the comfortable queen mattress with a pillow top. Everything else was so bad that I wouldn't recommend staying here. We rented a two-bedroom unit so friends could visit, but the screen in the second bedroom had a huge tear. Someone who'd stayed there the year before told us it was already torn then. We couldn't have our friends stay because closing the windows would make it too hot, and leaving them open meant mosquitoes. Housekeeping was supposed to come three times a week. I watched the maid bring a bucket of dirty water up to our floor and use it from room to room. The floors were cleaned with that same water. The bathroom sink was so filthy when we arrived that you couldn't see your reflection, and our toilet went two weeks without being cleaned. Our fridge broke three times in 12 days, and we lost a lot of food. After it still hadn't been repaired for three days the third time, we left. The owner had also promised us the couch that was supposed to come with our room, but we never got it. After moving out, we found a much nicer, cleaner unit a block and a half away, with a beautiful pool, and it cost less per night. Don't stay here.

It's just okay, and everything feels a bit overpriced, around 850-1000. About half the appliances in the villa actually worked. We stayed because I was tired of searching for dog-friendly places, and they only took cash. In really hot weather, don't expect to be comfortable, you'll roast.
