Our first stay in July 2022 went well, apart from the traffic noise since the hotel is right on the main road. We came back in December 2023 and had a terrible night. There was no water in the room for the shower, toilet, or even washing our hands or brushing our teeth. I called reception that evening and was told maintenance was working on it and we'd have water in two hours. It never came back, not even by morning. When I called again, they said the technicians had arrived at 7 a.m. I reminded them we'd already been told it would be fixed the night before. They'd also promised two replacement towels, but we got nothing. The only towel in the room had a hole in it. We left unable to flush the toilet, with the smell hanging around all night. I had asked them to move us or offer some kind of credit, but there was no response, no breakfast, and no compensation for the inconvenience.

We've stayed at the hotel four times now. The pool is nice, the rooms are spacious, and the menu is reasonably priced. The restaurant service was a little quicker this visit. Our girls always have to stop by when we arrive and again before we leave, and the place is pet friendly. Going northbound is easier. Heading south, you have to cross the gravel median quickly.

The bed linens were limited, though clean, and the shower head sprayed pretty much everywhere except on me. Still, the place was clean, the food came quickly, and the wings were great. I'd stay again.

We barely slept because of the noise. Huge cargo trucks were parked just outside the rooms with their engines running through the night, on top of the highway traffic. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the restaurant was good, but the noise was too much.

That meal was the best we had during two weeks in Mexico. For 200 pesos, including a very generous tip, we shared a plate and had beer and orange juice. Wow!
