Casa Limón

The hotel isn’t worth the price or the trouble. The photos on its website don’t match how it looks now, and seem to have been taken a long time ago. The place needs a lot of care. Our rooms let in the morning light, the beds were hard, and the skeleton keys made the doors difficult to open and close. There was also loud music early in the morning. We’re still waiting on a refund for massages we cancelled. I had booked them with our stay, then called right away to cancel. They said it would be fine and that they’d refund us while we were there, but they never did. It’s been four months. The manager, Raul, agreed to refund us, but keeps giving excuses, including that their PayPal account isn’t working. On checkout day, I saw the night watchman coming out of our room with the tip we’d left for the housekeepers. He was the only person there, and I know he took it. We were traveling with another couple, so I asked them to check their room too. Their tip was gone as well. Pick another hotel.

Had dinner on my own, and the restaurant was AMAZING. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. I’m so happy with the meal and will definitely come back.

The pool was out of service, and nobody told me when I booked. From 5 pm on the first day, the room had no water or electricity, and nobody helped fix it. The worst hotel ever. Don’t go, it’s a terrible option!

It was exceptionally quiet while we were there. The hotel was nice, and the restaurant served good food.
