Emporio Mazatlan

The jacuzzi wasn’t working while I was there, and I had a small problem with the door lock, though they fixed it in under an hour. The rooms are okay. I didn’t try the all-inclusive option, so I can’t comment on that. It’s a good choice if you want to keep costs down and spend your time exploring the city. The location makes getting around easy.

I hadn’t returned to Mazatlán since my mother died, so I wasn’t really looking forward to the trip after my parents retired here. Hotel Emporio made the visit a pleasant surprise. The view was picture perfect, and the place is clean and well maintained. Service was excellent and the food superb. It’s centrally located, with good restaurants, stores, and clubs within walking distance. The rate was reasonable too, which was the cherry on top.

Excellent. To make it even better, the rooms need access to local TV channels.

You get a great view from the restaurant or a lounge chair, and there are plenty of menu choices. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the property is very clean and feels safe. They were renovating a few rooms during my visit, but it didn’t get in the way. There are several pools, including one for kids, plus two hot tubs.
