The owner is a young kid who was very unprofessional. We rented through Airbnb for me, my husband, and our two children, ages 3 and 1. The tour seemed acceptable, and the kitchen being available to guests was a big reason we decided to try it for our 10-day stay. We paid, shopped for enough food for the whole stay, moved in, and went to cook. The stove wouldn't work. When I asked the owner how to turn it on, he looked at me like I didn't belong and asked, “Who are you anyway?” I said we'd rented for ten days. He told me the kitchen didn't work, we weren't allowed to cook, and children weren't allowed either. He said it would be best to get a refund, so I did and left. That left us spending time and money on taxis in the sun, trying to find somewhere else with two kids, 10 bags of groceries, and three big bags of clothes. The place looked acceptable during the tour, but there were problems: mold crusted along the bottom of the swimming pool, a broken bathtub outside with cracks and fiberglass hanging off, and a rusty old chair sitting in direct sun without shade. There's also a kitchen that seemed clearly unlicensed, selling food to clients without proper facilities for cleaning, and subletting to others. The photos here are bull, they make the place look ten times better. At least they hired a good photographer. These reports seem to be mostly from the owner's friends. This was the saddest experience I've had at this location. I don't recommend anyone go there. They're new owners, and with the way they treat guests, I don't think they'll last long. Beware.

It's a beautiful, clean historic house with a lovely pool and a spa for an extra charge. The staff are friendly, and the location is great: across from a local market, church, and park, with parking outside. It's a 10-minute walk to Plaza Grande, the city's central park.

I looked into the place too. The young guy there is rude and a jerk, and the unsafe areas and horrible bugs make me think the place should be shut down.

It feels dated and wasn't really clean.
