Japoneza Retreat Centro - Adults Only

We paid in advance for breakfast for our one-night stay, but it was never provided. There was only one staff member at the property and no proper guest service. After checkout, the hotel acknowledged the issue on WhatsApp and promised a breakfast refund. Once I provided my bank account details, they blocked me. The location is horrible and not in the city center. The property is poorly done, and my room flooded after I showered. The lack of organization, accountability, and communication made the stay feel unprofessional and very unreliable. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. SCAM. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Jessy and the whole team were so welcoming. They gave me dining information, arranged laundry pickup and drop-off, and helped with everything I needed. The stunning yoga room was just what I wanted to start my day. At Japoneza Retreat, the private bedroom and Japanese-style bathroom were beautiful, as were the pool, conference room, and all the shared spaces. It was a 10 out of 10. If you want a convenient location, a peaceful setting, and accommodating staff, I highly recommend booking here.

The grounds made me feel like I was back in Tokyo, and the place truly felt like home. It’s luxurious without being stuffy. My week at Japoneza was completely zen, with everything just right and gracious, accommodating staff throughout. I highly recommend it. 10/10.

JRMC is a hidden paradise in Merida, with thoughtful details throughout, including a secret jumping spot into the deep mini pool. The staff were there for every need, and I felt relaxed right away. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a really special place.
